Sarà Miley Cyrus a condurre l'edizione 2015 dei Video Music Awards, la cantante l'ha fatto sapere con una geniale foto caricata su Instagram.
Prepariamoci ad una serata dominata da Taylor Swift, proprio come fece Lady Gaga nel 2010, quando arrivò ai Video Music Awards con ben 13 nominations. Come prevedibile nell'anno del suo boom, la Swift si porta a casa quasi tutte le nominations più importanti, e ancora più probabilmente le vincerà quasi tutte. Non arriva alle 13 di Gaga, che era nominata anche due volte nella stessa categoria ( erano i tempi di Bad Romance e Telephone ), ma si ferma a quota 9!
Gli unici che possono realmente insidiarla sono Mark Ronson e Bruno Mars, che hanno segnato i primi mesi dell'anno con il loro tormentone, Uptown Funk.
Completamente snobbate Madonna e Britney, con la prima che nell'anno del suo Rebel Heart riceve la decisiva stangata dagli americani, che non hanno considerato nemmeno il bellissimo video di Ghosttown, mentre Britney deve completamente dimenticare Pretty Girls.
Stessa cosa per Rihanna, che prende una nomination, inutile direi, per American Oxygen, mentre è stata snobbata sia FourFiveSeconds che BBHMM, e Selena Gomez, senza alcuna candidatura.
Per finire troviamo le solite Beyoncé e Nicki Minaj, che si prendono una nominations qui e una là, per portarsi a casa uno o due awards. Sarà difficile per la Knowles fare il colpaccio sono con 7/11, anche se di nominations ne ha ben 5.
L'appuntamento è per il 30 Agosto, in diretta dagli USA, quando scopriremo chi avrà vinto, ma soprattutto chi salirà sul palco.
